The Freedom Center for Social Justice invites you to join us as an advertiser for the 2011 TransFaith In Color Conference which is taking place July 29-31, 2011 at the University Hilton Hotel, Charlotte, NC. Your critical support will help provide training for a cohort of more than 200 transgender people of faith to work as grassroots activists and opinion leaders around issues of sexuality within their respective faith and general communities. While there is great work being done by many within the faith community and beyond, transgender people of color have often been underrepresented. It is for that reason that the initial planning for this effort began with a group of transgender people of color from across the country who gathered in 2009 to lay the foundation for TransFaith Summit 2010 and subsequent TransFaith In Color Conferences. The Conference is a racially, culturally and spiritually diverse dynamic environment that welcomes transgender people from a range of faith communities and spiritual traditions.

All advertisements are published upon the representation that the advertiser is authorized to publish the content and subject matter thereof. The advertiser assumes responsibility for obtaining model releases for all images. The advertiser will defend, indemnify and hold The Freedom Center for Social Justice (FCSJ) harmless from and against any loss, expense or other liability resulting from any claims or suits that may arise out of publication of such advertisements. Responsibility for typographical errors in ads submitted as camera-ready or on disks rests with the advertiser. FCSJ reserves the right to reject or exclude advertising copy which, in its opinion, is unethical, misleading, unfair, in bad taste, detrimental to the public interest or otherwise inappropriate with the character of FCSJ. All agreements are subject to strikes, accidents, fires, acts of Gods or Goddesses, or other contingencies beyond FCSJ’s control. FCSJ assumes no liability if, for any reason, it becomes necessary to omit an advertisement. FCSJ’s liability for any error will not exceed the charge for the advertisement in question. By completing and submitting the signed ‘Advertising Form’, the signed contractor releases all rights for legal arbitration. |
